2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia vs 2021 Genesis G70: A reflection of our inner thoughts

An automobile, our car, is an extension of who we are and how we want to be perceived by the outside world. Like you, Alfa Romeo is unique, exclusive and the perfect union of design and performance. This sounds like a match made in Heaven.

The perfect Italian suit

Italian fashion designers are world-renown for creating some of the most attractive clothing to ever find its way on the catwalk. This same creative force lies within Alfa Romeo designers and what they've created is one of the most beautiful sedans to ever grace our roads. A Giulia never drives by unnoticed especially if it's Alfa Rosso. When was the last time you spotted a Genesis G70?

The Giulia's taut and fluid body is seductive, beautifully crafted, and quite muscular. Alfa Romeo Giulia's distinct V Scudetto grille has more than 85 years of history behind it and its sophistication is undeniable. One gets the impression the Giulia was tailor-made while the G70 is aimed at everyone.

Tailored to perfection

Like a good suit or the perfect dress, the Alfa Romeo's cabin is not only fashioned with passion, it simply fits. The premium materials and flawless fit and finish are the result of 110 years of perfecting the automobile. The dashboard is cohesively attractive with the standard 8.8-inch display expertly integrated within.

Within the Genesis G70, the dashboard's layout is not quite as unified as the 8-inch screen protrudes from the top of the central stack. A detail to some it might be, but Alfa Romeo designed the dashboard to be lower in the driver's field of vision to maximize forward visibility. The Giulia was conceived first and foremost for driving as clearly expressed by the sporty seats and flat-bottom F1-inspired steering wheel.

The power to make it happen

The Alfa Romeo, like you, is the complete package. It's attractive, well put together, and has the power and stamina to go the distance. The Giulia is motivated by a powerful yet highly efficient turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine which produces no less than 280 horsepower and 306 lb.-ft. of torque. These numbers handily out-do the Genesis G70's turbocharged 2.0-litre engine and its 252 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque.

The Giulia is also especially versatile, namely when it comes to spirited driving. The Alfa Romeo's la meccanica delle emozioni (the mechanics of emotion) spirit dictates that all of its mechanical components must deliver precision, performance, and an extreme sense of control.
